Withdrawing a Student

Upon notification by family to Gargi Girls' School of the intent to withdraw, the parent/guardian is directed to the Academic Office to begin the withdrawal process and is supplied with the Student Withdrawal Form. The parent/guardian initiates the Student Withdrawal Form and submits it to the Academic Office.

The Academic Office support personnel communicates the family’s intent to the Leadership Team of the School. The Academic Office support personnel circulates the form among the withdrawing student’s teachers, the Library/Media Specialist, Athletic Department, Business Office and Admission Office. When all areas have been cleared, books and uniforms returned to Gargi Girls' School and financial account satisfied of any outstanding balance, the Academic Office support personnel releases the final records to the family and notifies the Director of Admission that the family has fulfilled all obligations and should be withdrawn from Gargi Girls' School database.

Withdrawal from the School

  • In case the child doesn't want to continue in the upcoming session, application for the withdrawal must be submitted before the 28th Feb, else the 1st Quarter charges would be charged before issuing the T.C.
  • Those who leave the school in the month of May will not be refunded fees of June. No fee other than Caution/Security money will be refunded at any stage.
  • No Transfer Certificate will be issued until all sums/due of the school are paid. T.C. need be applied on the prescribed T.C. format available at the school reception.
  • T.C. will be handed-over after 10 days of the application or the last day of the session whichever earlier.
